  1. My condolences to the Tolman families. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of dear Cyrus. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

  2. Dad,
You were the first hand I held. Dad you were and always will be a joyful beacon of love and kindness. Thank you for showing us all how the most simple pleasures in life are the most treasured. Your smile and charisma forever contagious. You were loved by so many of my friends, extended family and mere acquaintances. As I drop my hand to let you go. I know you will live on in your grandson, Trenton. Until we see you again,
I love you Dad, PapaT, friend and Guardian Angel
    Mike, Tanja and Trenton Dickerson

  3. He had me at “Well Hello There!” His heart was truly made of gold and his smile lit up the world!! See you around like a donut!! I love you!!

  4. What a wonderful man! I don’t know of anyone who has had a greater and more positive impact on my life and that of my family than CH. Kind, gentle, genuine, caring, giving and funny, CH also had a unique gift for making everyone whose lives he touched feel extra special and valued. I remember him several years ago saying that he always just wanted to make a difference and be remembered as having been liked by all. He not only accomplished that goal but more than exceeded it … he was loved by all as well. CH touched our hearts as no one has and our world is such a better place having had him in it. You will truly be missed Chief. Prayers be with your family and all of those you have left behind.
