Jose D. Hinojosa

Jose D. Hinojosa, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday evening, September 3, 2018 in the presence of his loving family at the age of 75. Jose was born on August 1, 1943 in Elsa, TX to the late Horacio Hinojosa and Florencia Diaz Hinojosa. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Janie Ruiz, Ernestina Hinojosa, and his brother Juan Hinojosa. His professional career was spent as a talented carpenter and construction business owner. He spent the majority of his life in the state of Washington. He was passionate about painting, fishing and the outdoors. His last few years he lived happily under the loving care of his daughter Rosalinda, son-in-law Arturo and grandchildren, Valissa, Kina, Alex, Miguel, Adriana and Zakaryah. Survivors include his loving children, Rosalinda Soto, Margarita Medina, Sophia Guzman, Arturo Rodriguez, and Frankie Hinojosa. His surviving siblings include Lorie Tiliano, Lupita Rodriguez, Rosie Burns, Pete Hinojosa, Felipa Rubio, Mary Benavidez, Enedina Juarez, and Linda Garcia. Mr. Hinojosa has 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren whom he loved very much. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 8th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 23 Dobie Blvd., Cibolo, TX 78108
