Michelle R. Luna-Garza, a New Braunfels native, received her heavenly wings on Sunday morning, September 2, 2018 at Baptist Hospital Downtown in San Antonio at the age of 46. Michelle was born on April 18, 1972 in New Braunfels to the late Eustacio Luna Jr. and Rachel Serna Luna. Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and a nephew. Survivors include her loving husband of 20 years, Sergio R. Garza; children, Enriqueta Diaz and Christopher Garza; grandson, Sebastian Gray Gonzales; siblings, Jessica Salazar (Anthony), Eustacio “Son” Luna III, Sundance Luna (Roseann), Janice Luna (Jojo) and many nephews, nieces, cousins and extended family. Michelle was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her husband, children, siblings and extended family but no one could compete for the love she had for her grandson, Sebastian Gray. She was over the moon to have been given the opportunity to meet him and spend time with him. Michelle will forever be in our hearts. We know that she will be watching over us until we meet again. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Saturday morning, September 8, 2018 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 AM promptly for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. As kids growing up we shared a birthday cake and thought it was cool to share our birthday’s. She was always up for a good laugh. Her spirit touched many and I can attest to her overall warmth and loving ways. She was a good cousin and I am glad we spent so much time at grandma’s together. I love you and will think about you often especially in April. Love always your cousin Mario d.

  2. Where do I start – we are more than cousins, we have been best of friends and sisters this last 46 years. We have so many wonderful memories at Granny’s house since we were young. You and I shared so many fun times together and I will cherish each memory. I hear your voice saying “When are coming back”. My heart aches because I miss you so much but I know that one day we will be united again. Enjoy Heaven and our family members that are there with you. Remembering you always. Love You, Julie
