  1. My condolences to the Whitaker families. I’m sorry to hear about the passing of dear Mildred. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

  2. My deepest sympathy to the Millie Whitaker family on your loss. Millie and I were prayer partners for many years in Adoration Chapel at Sts. Peter & Paul Church. She was a very dedicated disciple of Christ. May the family experience Peace knowing that Millie was doing God’s work during her life on Earth. I will pray for Millie and the Whitaker family.

  3. So sorry to hear of Millie’s passing. I don’t know if I have ever met anyone with such a kind and gentle spirit like Millie had. She was a very special lady. Her devotion to her Catholic faith and the Holy Eucharist was an inspiration to cradle Catholics like me. Receiving the Holy Eucharist to Millie was like being in Heaven…she was so aware of the Real Presence and I remember it bringing her to tears of outmost joy. Heaven has another Saint. You will be dearly missed, Millie. God bless you with Eternal Rest. Angela Uhlig
