Tony was an amazing person and a highly talented teacher who made a positive and significant difference in the lives of countless students. His contagious passion for teaching was driven by his intense love, respect and concern for his students and their well-being. He cared deeply toward his students and it was manifested daily in his thoughtful and purposeful interactions with them. It was always a joy to walk into his classroom and see him encouraging, challenging and motivating his students to learn and succeed. He was truly a gifted educator who modeled positive energy, optimism, perseverance and a ‘can do’ attitude for his students and his colleagues. I will always remember Tony as a person who made a powerful and lasting difference in the lives of others. We wish for Catherine, Gretchen and Meghan support during this challenging time. It is comforting to know that they have many friends who love them and will care for them. Nancy and I feel fortunate to have known Tony and feel that our lives have been blessed tremendously through our interactions with him as a friend, neighbor and colleague.
I’m very sorry for your loss. Tony taught my daughter Robyn, in Dhahran. He was a wonderful teacher. With best wishes, Siân McGhee
As a shy high school kid way back in JHS. He was one of the few older students to say hello to me in the hallways. I pray his lovely wife Kathryn and his family remember and treasure how many hearts and souls his presence and kindness has always touched. May he rest in peace knowing he made a difference to all he encountered.
