Emma Figueroa Martinez

Emma Figueroa Martinez, 63, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. Emma was born on July 4, 1961 to Erasmo Figueroa, Sr. and Carolina Lopez Figueroa in New Braunfels, Texas.

Emma was a hard-working woman and who was strong in her faith. When she was dedicated to something she was unstoppable, whether it was being there for her family, faith, or doing physical therapy. She loved with all her heart, especially her grandchildren, who she loved spending quality time with. There was nothing more that she loved than God, her family and her grandchildren. Grandma and Grandpa would love to take the grandkids cruising around. She will be dearly missed by her family, husband, son, daughter-in-law and especially her grandchildren who will miss her “World Famous”.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Islao Figueroa. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Abel Martinez Sr.; son, Abel Martinez, Jr. and wife JoAnn Martinez; loving grandchildren, Analise Soto, AnnMarie Martinez, Noah Martinez and Emmalee Martinez; and siblings, Aida Martinez, Alicia F. Alfred, Elsa Avery, Amanda Perez, Erasmo Figueroa, Jr., Orlando Figueroa, Daniel Figueroa, Diana Pena, Elisa Figueroa and Ervey Figueroa. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
