Jorge Luna, born April 23, 1959, in New Braunfels, Texas, was called home to heaven on January 5, 2025. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, humor, and unwavering faith. Jorge was a Veteran, proudly serving his country in both the active United States Army and the Army National Guard for over 10 years. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Golden Corral, where he was known for his infectious laughter and his ability to brighten the days of his coworkers. A devout Christian, Jorge’s faith in Jesus Christ was evident in every aspect of his life. He shared God’s Love with everyone he met, leaving a lasting impact on those around him. Jorge was preceded in death by his Mother, Petra Martinez Lopez, Brother, Guadalupe Lopez, Grandmother, Guadalupe M. Lopez; Grandfather, Benito Lopez; and siblings, Frances Ramirez (Frank) and Ruben Luna. He is survived by his loving siblings; Gabriel Lopez (Mary), Jovita Perez (Eusebio), Lucy Egger (John), and Rudy Luna (Mireya); his cherished nephews and nieces; Eusebio Jr., Patricia, John, Brian, Jason, Robert, Joshua, Sylvia, Joseph, John, Frank Jr., Brian, and Lauren; and numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. A celebration of Life will be held on January 25, 2025, from 12-4 pm, with a Rosary at 2 pm. at Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of this wonderful man. The Family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all family and friends for their prayers and support during this difficult time, for the contributions towards funeral cost, and to his “Golden Corral” family for their love and camaraderie.
