Teodora “Dora” Estrada
November 9, 1935 – September 25, 2026
It is with profound sadness and immeasurable love that the family of Teodora “Dora” Estrada announces her passing. Dora was called home to Jesus on September 25, 2026, at the age of 90.
To know Dora was to know a woman of incredible strength, unwavering faith, and unconditional love. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. To her family, she was so much more. She was their rock, their home, and the person they could always count on.
For nearly 91 years, Dora lived a life filled with love, faith, perseverance, and family. She taught those around her about Jesus through her words, her prayers, and, most importantly, through the way she lived her life. Her faith was an inseparable part of who she was, and she never stopped believing in the power and love of God.
Whenever someone was in Dora’s presence, they could expect to be prayed over. Prayer was one of the greatest ways she showed her love. She prayed for her family, over her family, and with a faith that made those around her believe that no matter what they were facing, God was listening.
Her love extended far beyond words. It could be found in the countless memories she created with her family, the lessons she taught, her strength during difficult times, and the love she gave so freely. Her family will spend the rest of their lives carrying pieces of her with them.
Dora’s greatest legacy is not something that can be measured. It lives on through her daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and every person fortunate enough to have known and loved her. The values she taught, the faith she shared, and the memories she created will continue through every generation that follows.
Though her family is heartbroken by her absence, they find comfort knowing that Dora is finally home with Jesus. They can picture her now, standing tall with her arms wide open, proclaiming with the unmistakable strength that was so uniquely hers:
“In the name of Jesus, I am healed!”
And perhaps that is the greatest comfort of all—that the woman who spent her life teaching others about Jesus is now face-to-face with Him.
Dora is survived by her beloved daughter, Maria Niemietz; grandchildren, Angela Niemietz and Vincent Niemietz and his fiancée, Arissa Harrison; and her great-grandchildren, Rylan, Liam, Vincent II, CaliRose, Catalaya, Sebastian, and Oliver.
She is also survived by her siblings, Feliciana Cantu and Perfecto Estrada; and her nieces and nephews, Angela Cantu Reyes, Misty Marroquin, Dorothy Cantu, Sylvia Barrientos, Eva Williams, Adam Cantu, Chris Cantu, and Jesse Cantu, along with numerous other loving family members and friends whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Locadio Estrada and Maria Estrada, as well as numerous beloved brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Dora’s absence will leave a space that can never be filled, but her love will remain with her family forever. Her faith, her strength, her prayers, and her unconditional love will continue to guide the generations she leaves behind.
May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus.
Her family was blessed to have her. Her legacy will live on. She will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
