Wayne Clark Collins

Wayne “Clark” Collins, age 70, and a resident of Spring Branch, TX, passed way Friday evening, November 8, 2024, at his residence. Clark was born on October 22, 1954 in San Antonio to the late Wayne Emerson Collins and Oleva Susan Clark Collins. He graduated from high school in Rockport, TX. During his professional career, Clark was the owner and operator of a boat dealership, Coastal Marine in Rockport, TX for 41 years. Clark lived most of his life in Corpus Christi, TX where he raised his children. He loved attending his kid’s extra-curricular activities. He had many friends and neighbors who he loved having get-togethers with. He owned horses in his earlier days, enjoyed trail-riding and the outdoors. Clark was an avid fisherman and loved hunting with his best friends at the Ranch. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Oleva Collins. Survivors include his daughter, Courtney Shae Collins; son, Hunter Wayne Collins; brother, Bart Wayne Collins; sister, Katheryn Ann Collins Krueger & her husband Dean Krueger; Friend & Ex-Wife, Julie Ann Nelson Collins, His adored niece, Malana Dalton, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial for Clark will be held at a future date, while a private family memorial will be held in the spring at his favorite place, Beaver Creek Ranch in Doss, TX.

I always had a great time hanging out with you and my cousin’s, Julie and Lorie.
So sorry we didn’t get to spend much time together after we moved back to Springfield. I remembered fondly the times that we visited y’all running around the ranch with the horses and critters. Rest easy & know that you will be missed! Love you cuz!!
