Antonia Garcia, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Antonia was born on October 11, 1960 in New Braunfels to Eduvijen Garcia and Dominga Villanueva Garcia. Survivors include her children, Veronica Garcia, Roland Gonzales and Samantha Marie Garcia; grandchildren, Raquel Watson, D'Marcus Hall and Coy Rodriguez; great-grandson, David Hernandez; siblings, Margarita Ramos, Virginia Garza, Carmen Garcia, Eduvijen Garcia, Jr., Lucy Ortiz, Maria "Chavela" Garcia and Maria "Melly" Hernandez. In addition, Antonia is survived by her loving companion, Angel Alonzo. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 9:00pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00am on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at STS. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, II located on FM 482 in New Braunfels.
