Arlen Alexander McFall, 20, of New Braunfels, fell into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, March 16th, 2018. He passed away while on a father/son fishing trip to the Texas Coast. GOD's angels lifted his spirit from the sea and escorted him to Heaven to be with his sister "Baby" Grace. He is the son of Jeffrey and Melissa (Meshew) McFall of New Braunfels. Arlen was born June 4, 1997, in Orangeburg, SC and has lived in New Braunfels since 2004. He graduated from Canyon High School in 2015 and was working full time while also attending St Phillips College, pursuing a degree in Auto Mechanics. He leaves behind his high school sweetheart, Leslie DeLeon, whom he loved more than life itself. Arlen's other loves were working on and modifying cars, fishing, skateboarding, basketball, the Spurs, Cowboys, and Aggies. His best friend growing up was his cousin Mason Heimer, whom he dearly loved. Arlen is survived by his parents Jeffrey and Melissa, and niece Karliah McFall at their home in New Braunfels and his older brother Loren and step-niece Serenity Stephens. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Bill and Laura Kay Miller, of New Braunfels, and Robert and Melody Meshew of Victoria, Texas; and his paternal grandmother, Ruby Carnahan of San Antonio. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Leslie Deleon of New Braunfels and her family and his close cousin Mason Heimer, with the US Army stationed in Fairbanks, AK; five aunts, three uncles and numerous cousins. 1. My condolences to the McFall families. I’m sorry to hear about the untimely loss of dear Arlen. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Therefore we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

  2. Praying for your family. I was on the beach that day and helped pull you out of the water. I wish we would have spotted you earlier to save you. Be with God and God be with your family.
