Betty Laird Cook passed away on July 7, 2021 at 5:46 pm with her oldest son, Randy Sayen, and her youngest daughter, Rebecca Triplett at her side. She fought a long battle with Dementia. Betty was a piano teacher for many years in the Corpus Christi area and touched the lives of many children and adults. She also was an Income Tax Preparer, owning her own business for many years. She was greatly loved by friends and family in both Corpus Christi and New Braunfels. Betty Laird Cook was preceded in death by her husband, Jeral J. Cook, her parents, Ernest Laird and Janie Laird, her brother Raymond Laird and his wife, Betty DeWeese Laird who welcomed her into Heaven with open arms. She leaves behind her four children, Karen Inman, Randy Sayen, Kenneth Sayen, and Rebecca Triplett and her husband, Jonny Triplett and her step children Joe and Kathy Cook, Jim and Tina Cook, and John Cook. She also had 14 grandchildren and 24 Great-grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandkids, her Sister Darlene and Joes Black and 3 Nephews and 3 Nieces.
