Carl W. Stromeyer

Carl "Skip" Stromeyer, 94, of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. He was born on June 7, 1920 in New York City. Carl served as an Air Force supply sergeant in Canada in WWll. He had a long successful sales and management career with Honeywell and retired in 1985. His job took him and his family to many different places to live New Jersey, Texas, Minnesota, Florida and Georgia. But their hearts were always in Texas, so in 1994, he and his wife, Gerry, returned to Texas and chose New Braunfels as their new home. It was a move that gave them much happiness and many new friends. Carl is survived by his wife of 71 years, Gerry Stromeyer; and his daughter, Lynn Talbot. A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Gruene United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carl's name to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels.
