Celestina Delgado

Celestina Sanchez Delgado, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 in New Braunfels, Texas at the age of 84. Celestina was born on April 6, 1937 in New Braunfels, Texas to Delfino and Nasaria Sanchez. Celestina enjoyed and love to cook and garden. She enjoyed watching the duck and geese. Celestina was a very loving person. Celestina is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Geronimo Sanchez, Genoveva S. Luna, Isiderro Sanchez, Nicholas Sanchez, Cruz Sanchez, and Juanita S. Spicer. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, John Delgado; children, Carlos Delgado and Rita Sanchez; grandchildren, Carlos, Steven, Gabrielle, Amanda Delgado; and siblings, Aurelia S. Benavides, Irene S. Cruz and Bonefacio Sanchez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Adam Calderon, Adrian Vasquez, Lorenzo Cruz, Carlitos Delgado, Marco Guerrero, and Randy Sanchez. Visitation will be 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Lux Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church with a procession to follow to Santo Tomas Cemetery.
