Celestina Tanguma De Los Santos
August 25, 1923 ~ January 15, 2016
Celestina De Los Santos passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15th 2016 in New Braunfels, TX at the age of 92. Celestina was born on August 25th 1923 to Jose Maria Tanguma and Celestina Medrano. Though Born and raised in Premont Tx. Celestina made a life for herself and her family in Laredo, TX. She was a hard laborer and devoted mother. She was a longtime resident of San Antonio, Tx. until she moved to New Braunfels in 2008. Celestina is proceeded in death by her Daughter Aida Garza and Son Juan De Los Santos.
She is survived by her Daughters Raquel Paredez of New Braunfels, Tx. Maria E. Guerra of Laredo, TX, Sacramento Luna of San Antonio, TX, sons Roberto Garcia of Abilene, TX, Martin Garcia of Laredo, Tx And Alberto Garcia also of Laredo. Celestina also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carrying her to her final resting place are pallbearers: Mike A. Hernandez, Carlos Benavides Jr., Cyndi Luna-Philby, Martin Garcia, Jessica Luna-Offutt, Juan E. Guerra.
A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 9:00-11:00 am with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
