Claudine Devaney, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on November 22, 2012 at her residence at the age of 86. Claudine was born on July 7, 1926 in El Dorado, AR to Walter F. Langheld and Nettie M. Joyce Landheld. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Schulmeier, and by a brother, Buster Landheld. Survivors include her sons, Gary L., Larry W., Sr. and Terry N. Prewitt; grandchildren, Tammy Taylor, Kim Shugart, Kerry Fuqua, Candace Prewitt, Larry W. Prewitt, Jr., Michael Lynn Prewitt and Zachariah A. Prewitt; 16 great-grandchildren; brother, Benny Langheld and sister, Lorita Trimble. Per Ms. Devaney's wishes, her remains will be cremated.

Walter was my Dad, Edgar Langheld’s older brother.. Because of age difference and distances, sorry but I never knew Claudine only by name… In later years we made several trips to visit Uncle Walter.. of Dad’s 9 brothers Walter was one of my favorite.. If anyone is interested I have a baby picture of Claudine, someone in the family passed down to me…
A very special person. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
