Concepcion Talamantez

concepcion talamantez
Concepcion Talamantez, age 94, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at her home. Concepcion was born on December 8, 1925 in New Braunfels, Texas to Julian and Martha Villarreal. Our Mother was blessed with a long life, which gave her opportunities to learn, grow, love, and give to those whose paths she’d cross throughout life. She raised a family as a housewife, and eventually became a successful, hardworking businesswoman selling Avon. She always inspired us to better ourselves through her own moral and work ethics. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; spouse, Victor L. Talamantez, Sr.; siblings, Felipe Villarreal and Rosa Martinez. Survivors include her children, Frances Rios, Veronica Talamantez, and Victor Talamantez, Jr.; grandchildren, Gabriel Rios, Victor Talamantez, III, Patricia Castro, and David Talamantez; great-grandchildren, Diego Rios, Juliete Rios, and Aleyna Talamantez; great-great grandchildren, Izaac Hernandez, Belle Hernandez, Christian Galvan, and Ava Castro and sister, Isabel Luna. Concepcion is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church. Procession will follow to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery.
