Debra was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas to Bobby and Dovie Wilson September 18, 1953. She was raised in Euecha, Oklahoma, Orange County, California, and Jay, Oklahoma. She got an Accounting degree from Northeastern College in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and was a proud member of the Cherokee tribe. She went to work for Conoco in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and later for Anadarko Petroleum, and Total Inc., in Houston Texas. She retired in 2003. Debra enjoyed traveling with her husband including her life-long dream of Egypt and this year Copper Canyon, Mexico; but she really loved reading, and chasing after her grand-kids. Debra passed away peacefully August 20, 2022 in New Braunfels, Texas. Her ashes will be interred in Round Springs cemetery outside of Jay, Oklahoma. Debra was preceded by her parents Bobby and Dovie, and her sister Carolyn. She is survived by her husband Dwain Baker, her sisters Kathy, Patsy and Vickie and her husband Bennie, her son Casey and his wife Angie, and her grandchilden Caitlyn, Carter, Ayden, Addyson and Ashlynn; and her friend Linda.

  1. There are too many to choose from. She has been there for me during the ugly and through all the funny….. lots of memories on the couch and porch talking. She was the “Titanic Survivor” in Las Vegas and she was so sassy when they put that hat on her…. I’m going to miss her tons…. Thanks for treating me as your own and loving the grandkids so much…
