Dolores T. Castilleja, 83, of New Braunfels, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 in New Braunfels. Born on November 21, 1929 in Maxwell, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Jose Tristan and Quirina Castillo Tristan. In addition to her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her loving husband, Santos G. Castilleja, Sr. and her son, Juan Castilleja. Dolores was a loving wife and mother, dearly cherished by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and all who knew her. Dolores is survived by her children, Margarita Castilleja, Santos G. Castilleja, Jr. and his wife Ruth, David Castilleja and his wife Amalia, Florentino Castilleja, Armando Castilleja and his wife Mary, Samuel Castilleja and his wife Dana; daughter-in-law, Helen Castilleja. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at St.s Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Please note: there will not be a procession from the funeral home to the church on Wednesday. All wishing to attend the visitation and Funeral Mass are asked to meet at the church. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
