Edward Williams, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 in New Braunfels at the age of 76. Edward was born on May 22, 1944 in Luling, TX to the late Roy Williams and Lorine (Nolte) Williams Engel. Mr. Williams served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He later went on to become a Master Electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, and step-father Melvin Engel; Edward’s wife, Kathy Williams, who passed away on August 10, 2015; son, James Williams; brother, Roy Eugene Williams and by his sisters Marilyn Allen and Shirley Williams. Survivors include his children, Laury Tibbs and fiancé, William, Joe Williams (Kimberly) and John Haas (Robbie); grandchildren, Austin, Colton, Austin, Makayla, McKensey, Krystal, Georgia, Madison, Levi, Jamie and Korena; great-grandchildren, Anna, August, Jaxon, Charlize, Cullen, Evalyn, Roderyk, Miranda, Dalis, and Adelyn; brothers, Freddie Engel (Ella), David Engel (Monika) and Dennis Engel (Jeannine); sister, Betty Dietz (Cliff), and by his sister-in-law, Alice Williams. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services with military honors are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Hope Hospice of New Braunfels.
