Ester Ozuna Acevedo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the age of 62. Ester was Ester Ozuna Acevedo went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the age of 62. Ester was born on May 30, 1953 in New Braunfels to the late Emilio N. and Maria Campos Ozuna. Ester worked at Colonial Manor Nursing Home as a CNA. She also took much pride and joy providing childcare. She would spend her leisure time visiting family and friends. Ester enjoyed traveling on trips with her husband, visiting places like Mexico, California, and friends in Las Vegas. Ester was the most caring person and always willing to help out when help was needed. Her greatest joy in life was loving and raising her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Guadalupe E. Acevedo; son, Alfredo "Jugo" Ozuna Acevedo; daughter, Jo Ann Acevedo; granddaughter, Angel P. Acevedo; grandson, Jose "JJ" Salinas, Jr.; sisters, Emma Ozuna, Fransisca Ozuna, Juanita O. Aleman and her husband, Crisanto Aleman, Beatrice Ortiz and her husband, Sebastian Ortiz; brothers, Guillermo Ozuna and Juan Ozuna and his wife, Maria Ozuna. In addition, Ester is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. All services will end at the conclusion of the Memorial Mass on Friday.

  2. Ester provided child care for three years to our children (Parker & Clare) when they were babies/toddlers. Ester was a wonderful person and our family is very saddened to learn of her passing. May the Lord be with your family and bring you joy and happy memories like the joy Ester brought to our house during her time with our family.

  3. I will truly miss my tia Esther. She had so much love for everyone. She was the first one to make and help organize family functions. She always remembered birthdays and she always gave of her love to all. She was beautiful inside and out. Her beautiful smile and gorgeous eyes made her light up a room and turn head’s. Tia you will be missed but I know you are in a better place but I can say you will never be forgotten. I love you always and forever!💋💔💋
