Gregory Kent Aldrich, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Resolute Health Hospital at the age of 56. Greg was born on August 26, 1962 in San Francisco, CA to Robert Charles Aldrich and LaVerne Tuma Aldrich. He later served his country proudly in the United States Air Force. An aircraft mechanic for 16 years, an entrepreneur, building computers and software all of his adult life, Greg enjoyed working with his hands and was always fixing something. He was a peaceful man who always had a silly “dad joke” ready to tell followed by his signature little chuckle. He was a movie buff, watching any sci-fi and action movie he could get his hands on. He was proud of all of his children, always carrying picture to show anyone that he could. He left us too soon but was loved so much. Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Robert Charles Aldrich. Survivors include his children, Ashley, Lily Shannon, Gregory, Kayla, Danielle, Matthew, Nayeli and Soloman; his grandchildren Kelly, Tanner and Ashton; mother, LaVerne Aldrich; brothers, Brad and Doug Aldrich and Gregory’s former wife, Tracy Aldrich. A celebration of Gregory’s life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.
