Hilda Marie Parkman Dickey passed away on Dec 4, 2014 at the age of 91. She was born in Nordheim TX on Oct 4, 1923 to Emil and Minnie Koehler Pargmann. She graduated from Nordheim High School and after high school she worked in a dry good store until 1944 when she married Nathan Dickey Jr. That same year they move to New Braunfels, TX and opened and operated the Red and White Grocery Store. After a few years they open the Hobby and Toy Center on Union St. Her favorite things were taking care of her family, going dancing and Wurstfest. Preceeded in death by her parents Emil and Minnie Koehler Pargmann, her step-mother Etta Hansman Kellerman Rahe Pargmann and her beloved husband Nathan Dickey Jr. She is survived by her sister Lillian Rosenthal; sister in law Jean Dickey Moses and husband Sam; niece Rebecca Rosenthal, nephew David Rutherford and wife Barbara, nephew Sam Moses Jr. and wife Judy, niece Judy Moses Lightle and husband John, nephew Dickey Rutherford, niece Ann Rutherford Berenger; great nephew Anthony Moses, great nephew Mike Rutherford, great niece Jamie Rutherford and husband Vince, Pam Rutherford Trimble , Brook Carrillo and numerous step-nieces and nephews In lieu of flower a donations can be given to the charity of one chose.

  1. Mrs.Dickey was a beautiful person. She helped us out many a times when she owns the store .We will always remember her sweet smile and her kindness. We lived on Dittlinger St.She always had a hug and a kiss where ever we would meet. My sisters and I will always be grateful for her kindness shown to us in our neighborhood .   3. Becky and Lillian I am so sorry for the loss of your sister and aunt. Hilda lived a long and prosperous life, but the journey on earth has come to an end. She is now free of pain and suffering and an angel watching over you instead. She back with the love of her life and with her parents as well as they all are watching over us on this earth. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
