Juan Manuel Salinas, a resident of Canyon Lake, passed away Friday evening, February 5, 2021 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in New Braunfels at the age of 68. Juan was born on June 3, 1952 in Wylie, TX to the late Alberto Salinas and Herlinda De Leon Salinas. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force, retiring after 22-years of dedicated service. He was an outstanding Airmen who dedicated his life to his country. He was a great provider, even after we left the nest, for his family as any dedicated father would do. We will love and miss you always. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alberto and Herlinda Salinas and by two brothers, Alberto Salinas, Jr. and Freddie Salinas. Survivors include his sons, Juan Manuel Salinas, Jr. (Michelle), Mateo Salinas and Phelipe Nicholas Salinas; daughter, Emma Renee Salinas; brothers, Roy, Ritchie and Cruz Salinas; sisters, Dolores Salinas and Rosemarie Gonzalez; grandchildren, Maia Kaylani, Aurora May, Emily, Alena and Isabella, and by one great-granddaughter, Aleigha. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral on Saturday afternoon.
