  5. We are so very sorry to hear of Judy’s passing. She was a wonderful lady and you were such a great couple. I will remember our last visit together so fondly. A cold and rainy day at Gruene Hall having beers, telling stories, arguing over football, but always lots and lots of laughter. A perfect day to catch up with friends. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Jody & Diane Young

  6. I had married Dicks big brother and had 2 children by the time Richard introduced us to his girl ! . She was only 18 he was 11 years younger than his big brother and we were never living in the same state. So our time together were only on short visits . What I loved about her was that she was never hesitant to speak no matter the conversation and put in her 2 cents worth and liked to cook Louisiana style!! I was Norwegian Canadian so she impressed me with her openness!! She was easy to be around! One day when we visited in Guthrie, they were having a house built snd we went over to see the progress! She proudly showed us how she had decide to put down floor tile made in Mexico. And she was installing it herself ! This was before you tube days !! Then going to college and getting a masters . She seemed unflappable to me .. doing what needed to be done at the time for the family and also realizing her dreams and supporting Dick with his! Thanks for the memories, Judy Garland Burst! ! May you Rest In Peace knowing you were loved . ❤️🙏 Sister in law Margie Burst
