Leticia Griffin

Our beloved wife and mother, Leticia Cantu Griffin ascended to meet our Lord and Savior on Friday, September 21, 2018. Born on October 12, 1962 in Laredo, Texas to Pauline Maldonado and Patricio Cantu, Leticia was raised in Odessa, Texas where she lived a rich, full and happy life. Leticia was so full of life and always had a smile on her face. Happily marrying her husband Tommy on the 24th of March 1992, she always put family and friends’ needs before her own. She dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, brother along with her nieces and nephews. She will truly be missed by them all. She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Ponce, stepfather Robert Ponce, sister Jo Ann Ponce, and nieces Kaliah Garcia and Y’anna Sanchez. Survivors include her beloved husband Tommy Griffin, father Patricio Cantu of Corpus Christi, sons Tommy Carrasco and his wife Audrea of Lubbock, Abraham Carrasco and girlfriend Rosie Sosa of San Antonio, daughter Priscilla Carrasco and fiance Felipe Velasco of New Braunfels, sister Cindy Alvarado and her husband Ricky of Odessa, Lisa Martinez of Odessa, Melissa Cantu of San Antonio, Mandy Cantu of San Antonio, and brother Ralph Ponce of Odessa. Surviving grandchildren, Zachary, Nic, Julian, Jaydon, Natalya, Hailey, Amaris, Cataleya, A.J., Camila, Nicholas, Danika and Amari; great grandchildren Zyla and Weston along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. We the family would like to take the time to express a heartfelt embrace to each and every one for all of your prayers and presence with us during this most difficult time. Viewing and memorial service will be Monday September from 3 to 5 PM at Lux Funeral Home.
