Linda Ann Soto, 53, entered into eternal peace on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at SAMMC Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Linda was born on November 30, 1961 in New Braunfels, she was the daughter of Julia Villarreal Estrada and the late Thomas Estrada, Sr. Family and spoiling the grandchildren was Linda's passion and delight. She loved to host and entertain, just to see the smiles and hear the laughter in the house. She had an amazing green thumb. Linda loved to take walks with her four legged furry daughter Rosie and watch her dance in circles on her hind legs. Linda leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband Carlos Soto III of 19 blessed years, her loving children, Jimmie Menchaca Jr., Andrew Menchaca, Patricia and her husband Adrian Garza Sr., Roxanne and her husband Daniel Bonilla Jr., Step-daughter, JoAnn and her husband Abel Martinez; 16 beautiful grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; Siblings, Thomas Estrada Jr, Cindy and her husband Eberardo Garcia, Albert Estrada; Adoring nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 5:00-9:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church from 9:00-10:00 am followed by a Mass at 10:00 am. Interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will take place at a later date.

  1. Although your gone you are not forgotten. I have many memories that I will never forget like the times we spent when dad was out of town working. Our drive to Denton will always make me laugh. I’m sorry I wasn’t there in your last moments but know I thank you for the moments you were there and for taking care of me even when was a pain. Your at rest now and your not in pain anymore..you got your wings. Watch over us cause it’s not the same without you, we miss you and love you much. Rest in peace ma. We’ll see you when we get there.
