Louis Martin "Mike" Pepoff

Louis Martin Pepoff, affectionately known as Mike, passed away early Friday morning, April 7, 2017 at the Heart Hospital of Austin at the age of 66. Mike was born on May 20, 1950 in Vallejo, CA to the late Boris Pepoff and Julia Ann Pavlovich Pepoff. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his beloved wife, Linda Pepoff; children, Tawana Bray and husband, Brandon and Glenn Bishop and wife, Mendie; grandchildren, Laney Bray, Payton Fabian, Tyler, Timothy and Cory Cortez. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel, followed by the graveside service at 1:30 PM at Eden Cemetery in Seguin.

  1. My very deepest sympathy. He was a rare man, loved and appreciated. To spend time with Mike was to know how much he loved Linda, his family, his grands. He was so happy in the life he built. Wonderful memories will always be treasured. My prayers will be with you.

  3. My sympathy Linda, I spent many years with Mike ,since the Carquest Days..Talked with him regular at O”Reillys. Just recently had a long talk about the old days in this business. He will be missed by all in the automotive industry.. Sorry I did not make it to the visitation..

  5. Mike was the best manager I ever had the pleasure to work with. He was very outspoken and had a very unconventional style , but It worked. I remember he wore a velvet looking jacket at a managers conference and we started calling him Crushed Velvet. He was, and will always be the Best of the Best. I just found out today at work, I wish I would have known so I could have said goodbye. Linda, I wish you strength you need . Mike always had good things to say about you and his family.

  6. Remember when Mike drove his convertible Geo Metro around, with the broken top down in the rain. While wearing a trench coat and hat. We called him “inspector gadget”& go-go gadget car! One of a kind manager and team member, loyal to his crew. He will be greatly missed.
