Lucy Rios

Lucy Rios, a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Monday afternoon, May 1, 2017 at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 67. Lucy was born on November 22, 1949 in New Braunfels to the late Juan Rios and Theodora Mendez Rios. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her two sisters, Esmeralda Zavala and Alice Leon. Survivors include her children, Robert Cruz, Jr. and wife, Tammy and Lisa Flores and husband, Johnny; grandchildren, Mercedes Rae Cruz, Joshua Cruz and Isaiah Cruz; sister, Mineriva Villalpando and husband, Gilbert. In addition, Lucy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A time to visit with the family will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:30 PM followed by a memorial service at 7:30 PM on Monday, May 8, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel.
