Marie Long, 86, of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Legend Oaks and went to be with her husband, Milton "Sonny" Long, who passed away in 2011. Marie was born on March 29, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA to the late John and Frances Whinney. She is also preceded in death by her brother, James Chariton of Zephyrhills, Florida. Marie and Milton are survived by their daughter, Barbara Jean Long and numerous nieces and nephews A graveside service will be held for her and Milton at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
