Michele "Nana" Morgan, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Sundance Inn at the age of 67. Michele was born on January 17, 1945 in Alexandria, VA to Edward Morgan and Betty Jean Hansborough Morgan. During most of her professional career, Michele was employed as a certified nursing assistant. She is survived by daughter, Mitzi D. Zschiesche and companion, Melba Garcia; granddaughter, Brittany Zschiesche; sister, Melanie Morgan; niece, Kelly Morgan and nephew, Gregory Morgan. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

I am so sorry for the loss of Michele Morgan (mother-nana]. I did not ever get the privilage to meet her but if she is anything like the two girls that i know,I would have loved to have met her,Mitzi and Brittany are amazing. I do nothing but to wish the best for them!!!! May she rest in pease.

My sister, Punky, finally came to say hi to me today. When I got into the car this afternoon, the first song I heard was The Little Drummer Boy. She knows I hate that thing! I’ve been waiting for her to let me know she’s going to hang around with me at the beach. She’s going to be happy here, not to mention being with God. Mitzi, the day you were born Michele was so happy you were a girl. It was a celebration. Brittany, the day you were born, there was a new light in my sister’s soul. Michele knew how much I ached for a grandchild and she was so generous to share you with me. I’m so grateful to her for so many things. You girls were the loves of her life.
