Monica Lyn Gonzales

Monica Lyn Gonzales, 38, of Seguin, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2019 in San Antonio. Born on January 20, 1981 in Carrizo Springs, Texas, she was the daughter of Debra Ann Gonzales and the late Francisco Sisto Gonzales. In addition to her father, Monica was preceded in death by her son, Matthew James Awe. In addition to her mother, Monica is survived by her children, Jesus Francisco Villarreal, Ameryka Noemi Villarreal, Juan Julio Gonzales, Chriz Angel Robles, Brandy Jeanne Awe, and J’syn David Awe; siblings, Sisto Gonzales, Carla Gonzales, Anna Botello Ramirez, Eloy Julian Gonzales, and Miguel Angel Martinez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Monica also leaves behind a large, supportive church family. The family would like to give special thanks to Naya Ramirez and Minerva Gonzales for their help and loving care for Monica. Also thank you to Terry and Lucretia Burton and Jake and Sandy Isaac for their help and support. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 AM on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at the New Braunfels Church of Christ with a visitation to follow from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A service will begin at 12:00 PM. All services will conclude on Saturday.
