Ofelia C. Delgado

Ofelia C. Delgado, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away Wednesday morning, October 7, 2020 at Warm Springs Rehabilitation of New Braunfels at the age of 67. Ofelia was born on December 22, 1952 in Lamesa, TX to the late Jose Delgado and Nettie Castillo Delgado. During her professional career, Ofelia was employed as a nurse’s aide. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 37-years, Manuel Medina; sister, Esther Lopez and by two brothers, Joe Delgado, Jr. and Roy Delgado. Survivors include her children, Maria Delgado, John Martin and wife, Elizabeth Gonzales, Roger Martin and wife, Melissa and Christopher Delgado; step-daughter, Elva Medina; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Herma Martinez and Marga Morales. In addition, Ofelia is survived by two brothers, Sammy Delgado and Jesse Delgado. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 12, 2020 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. All services will end at 8:00 PM on Monday evening.
