Patricia L. Butler

Patricia L. Butler, 69, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020, at her home. Born on November 28, 1950, in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Phyllis Horch. Patricia is survived by her husband of 49 years, David R. Butler; children, Jennifer Cooper and husband Russell Cooper, Dave Butler and wife Kerry Butler; grandchildren Matthew Cooper, Michael Cooper, Christian Butler and Eli Butler; and sister Sue Foster. Patricia was a cherished mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend who loved her family and friends with all her heart. She appreciated the beauty of flowers, which is why she enjoyed spending time growing and nurturing her own plants and gardens. Always an admirer of seeing new sites, Patricia enjoyed traveling across the country and taking in all the nation had to offer. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and spoiling those around her, especially as Oma to her four grandsons. She lived and will remain as an example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Corinthians 13:13 — “And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.” A Going Home Service for family and friends will be held at Bulverde United Methodist Church Chapel on June 20, 2020 at 2:00pm. Due to COVID restrictions there will be no reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's name to the American Cancer Society.
