Patsy Ruth Shirley, 79, of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in New Braunfels. Born on January 5, 1936 in Colfax, Louisiana to the late Roy Lee O'Neal and Essie Elizabeth Luther O'Neal.
Patsy is survived by her children, Marie McWilliams and husband Carey of New Braunfels, Nancy Keys and husband Johnny of Natchitoches, La., Vicki Deptawa and fiance Jerry Jaeger, Billy O'Neal of New Braunfels; grandchildren; Joshua McWilliams and wife Kathleen, Kristen McWilliams, Dustin and Ashley Deptawa and one great grandson, Clayton Deptawa.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.

I worked with Patsy at the Comal County Senior Citizens’ Center — in the Thrift Store. I’ve only been here for 1 year — Patsy volunteered here for 20 years! She was an amazing woman and deeply loved. We’ll all miss her presence and her stories.
