Paulo Sanchez, Sr., a life-long resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his residence at the age of 49. Paulo was born on August 23, 1966 in New Braunfels to Joaquin Sanchez and Esther Campos Sanchez. Paulo was a fabrication welder for most of his working life. He was preceded in death by a brother, Joaquin Sanchez, Jr. and by a nephew, John Joseph Sanchez. Survivors include his children, Paulo Sanchez, Jr., Fabian Sanchez and David Mendoza; parents, Joaquin and Esther Sanchez; seven grandchildren; brothers, Daniel, Ernesto and Michael Sanchez; sisters, Alvina Garcia, Eulalia Jaramillo and Diana Perez. In addition, Paulo is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume from 8:30 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
