Raul "Rudie" G. Rodriguez, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Kirwood Manor Nursing Home at the age of 66. He was born on April 15, 1947 in Barbarosa, TX to Juan B. Rodriguez and Florencia Gonzalez Rodriguez. During most of Rudie's professional career, he was employed with Houston Instruments as an electronic technician. Survivors include his brothers, Domingo Rodriguez and wife, Isabel and Juan G. Rodriguez; sister, Manuela Venecia and husband, Jose; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition, he is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Fernando Flores and Erasmo Trejo and by two sisters-in-law, Antonia Rodriguez and Ermanda Rodriguez. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a Holy Rosary at 9:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
