Raymond D. Villarreal, Sr., 55, of New Braunfels, passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. Born on December 9, 1957 in New Braunfels, he was the son of the late Gregorio Villarreal and Oralia Davila Villarreal. He is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Aurelia Torres Villarreal of New Braunfels; three loving sons, Raymond D. Villarreal, Jr. and his wife Angie of Kentucky, Robert and Randy Villarreal of New Braunfels; three cherished grandchildren, Alexis Nicole, Austin Paul and Chelsea Ray. Also surviving are four sisters, three brothers, many aunts, uncles, brothers- and sisters- in law, nieces and nephews and his Chihuahua, Lady, who was his pride and joy. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elisa and Marcel Villarreal. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Lux Funeral Home Chapel with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Santo Tomas Cemetery in New Braunfels. Please note: there will be no visitation prior to graveside on Saturday. All wishing to attend the graveside service may meet directly at the cemetery.
