Robert Joseph Wasson, a resident of Canyon Lake, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012 in San Antonio at the age of 71. Robert was born on June 25, 1940 in San Diego, CA to Joseph Wasson and Beatrice Fitzgerald Wasson. Mr. Wasson served his country proudly in the United States Army, and was a truck driver for most of his professional career. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Carol-Jean Wasson. Survivors include his loving wife, Melissa F. Wasson, and two grandchildren, Sharon E. Wasson and Robert Joseph Wasson, II. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Mission of Divine Mercy. The Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 am on Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Mission of Divine Mercy with Father Moses of Jesus Pillari as Celebrant.
