  1. My condolences to the Gonzales families. I’m sorry to hear about the loss of dear Ruben. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which says “Your dead ones will live…They will rise up”. And the Bible also says “The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it”. Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5;28,29 which says “Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out”. This is possible thanks to Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.

  2. I remember my grandpa never being scared of anything… Growing up he was my role model, I wanted his confidence and the way he knew anything was possible, My granpaw as he would say it … Will forever be looking after his grandchildren, Kids , Cousins, etc. ❤️Gone but never forgotten 🙏🏼~Nora Gonzales

  3. I can still hear your voice! ..during your final days you worried about us and not yourself. You were my rock when I needed you the most.. you would say call on the Lord and he will answer.. God has called you home to rest now. We will miss you dearly!

  4. From Berta his only living daughter: I’m Gonna miss his phone calls hearing his voice. His visits to California. I have so many good memories that I will cherish!
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

  5. Grandpa I miss you and love you sooo much. I am going to miss taking with you and messaging with you. I take some comfort in knowing how brave and ready you were to be with God. You were and are loved Grandpa. I will continue to honor you Grandpa as you said in one of our last conversations keep doing what I’m doing spend time with kids make memories. I love you Grandpa
