Ruperto Robles

Ruperto Robles, a long-time resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday evening, June 17, 2017 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home at the age of 95. Ruperto was born on July 1, 1921 in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico to the late Jose Robles and Rosa Perez Robles. Ruperto married Francisca Garza Robles on August 24, 1945. Mr. Robles had been a resident of New Braunfels since 1967. He retired from Mission Valley Textile Mill in 1985 after 15 years of dedicated service. Ruperto was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Francisca Garza Robles on September 5, 2016; brothers, Isidro Robles, Jose Robles and Alejandro Robles; sisters, Amalia and Adela. Survivors include his children, Jesus Andres Robles and wife, Annette, Gilberto Robles and wife, Alma Rosa and Maria Escobedo and husband, Rey; grandchildren, Gilbert, Rosemary, Rodney and wife, Velma, Randy and girlfriend, Mary, Laura and husband, Vince, Cynthia and husband, Anthony, Joseph and wife, Shanda and Joshua; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Reynaldo, Rodrigo and Juan Robles. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, June 23, 2017 with the funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rey Escobedo officiating. Entombment will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Mausoleum.
