Wanda Sue Dixon

Dixon, Wanda Sue (Sue Sue) Surrounded by her family, our beloved Sue Sue passed on to be with the Lord on December 26th, 2021. Sue Sue was born on April 24th, 1941, to Lottie Faye “Dutch” Scott and JW Scott in Anson, TX. She grew up tending to the ranch and farm alongside her family. At a young age she developed a deep love for the outdoors, horses, livestock, and all animals. She loved sceneries, flowers, and watching the beauty that season changes would bring. Most of all, Sue Sue Loved. She loved and cherished her family. She was joined in union with Dean Bonds, and had two girls, Barbara Kay, and Dena Sue. She was a wonderful mother and loved with her whole heart. She was later remarried to the late Bill Dixon. They lived in Canyon Lake before they built what was to be her dream home on “Good Dirt” in Bastrop, Tx. Sue is preceded in death by her father, JW Scott, her sister Ann Gray, and niece Sabrah Dixon. She will be remembered by her mother, Dutch Scott, her sister, Kay Ritchey, as well as her daughters, Barbara Morris, and Dena Buchanan, her nieces, Donna Carol Moore, Kerri Gray, and Denise Britt, and her grandchildren Jessica, Ryan, Zachary, Britnee, Bobbi Sue, Michael, and Ashley. She was a loving grandmother to many great grandchildren who adore her. She built so many memories with each of us that will forever be cherished, such as painting rocks, planting gardens, and teaching us about wildflowers. She enjoyed boating and water sports and shared that joy with her children and grandchildren. She had a unique way of turning our frowns upside down, having us turn in circles until we smiled. She had a special way about her. She had a passionate love for our Lord, Jesus Christ, and instilled that same love for him, in her children, and grandchildren. It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we lay her to rest, and say, thank you for all of your love, we love you sug, and we will see you later, Services will be held on January 8 th at: Lux Funeral Home 1254 N. Business IH-35 New Braunfels, TX Family viewing will be from 11am to 12pm Public viewing will be from 12pm to 1pm With the service beginning at 2pm
