William McKinley Coats, Jr., 69, of Live Oak, passed away at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Born on August 14, 1944 in San Diego, California, he was the son of the late William McKinley Coats, Sr. and Ethel Barry Coats. William is survived by wife, Sue Coats; children, Brenda Williams and her husband Waymon, Tim Coats and his wife Lisa, Lisa Milliken and her husband Jason; grandchildren, Tanya Rackley and her husband Caleb, Joshua McGlothlin and his wife Crystal, Caleb Coats, Seth Coats and Ashlie McEachern; great grandchildren, Aden, Kaitlyn, William "Liam" and one on the way; brother Jim Coats and his wife Carole. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Coats and his brother David Coats. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am on Monday, May 5, 2014 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel with a service to begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Redeemer United Church of Christ Cemetery, 7415 Gin Road, Marion, TX.
