William Tyler Dudley, Jr.
August 27, 1941 ~ July 24, 2018
William Tyler Dudley, Jr. (known as Bill) passed away Tuesday, July 24, in the late afternoon, at home in Canyon Lake, TX. He is survived by his wife, Billy Ann Dudley, who was at his side. Mr. Dudley was born August 27, 1941 to Wm. T. Dudley, Sr. and Francille Braswell Dudley in Mercedes, TX. Mr. Dudley passed away due to cancer. Besides his wife, he is survived by son Mark and wife Doris, grandchildren Brittany, Chris (wife Gabby), Tyler, Walker, and Ginger; son Matt and wife Lisa, grandsons Caleb and Jacob; daughter Jennifer and husband Joey Muniz. Mr. Dudley was preceded in death by both parents and brothers Charles (Chuck) Dudley and Jack Dudley. Mr. Dudley served in the U.S. Army, serving as an MP in Germany in the early '60s. He was very patriotic. Mr. Dudley was a farmer in south Texas for many years, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. After moving from south Texas, he became a trucker, driving 18-wheelers for various paving companies. Mr. Dudley enjoyed the mountains of New Mexico and the big trees. He planted many trees in his lifetime and he could make anything grow! He could talk to anyone at any time, as he was not shy. The family will miss him. A memorial service, in his honor, will be held on Saturday, August 18, at 2 p.m. at the Canyon Lake Church of Christ, 42301 FM 3159. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I love you daddy. I will cherish our trips to Landa Park to feed the ducks and watch the squirrels.
