Wynell Welsh

Wynell Burt Welsh, 91, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2022 at her residence in Spring Branch, Texas. Born on January 12, 1931 in West Blocton, Alabama she was the daughter of Irby and Birdie Burt, West Blocton, AL. Wynell attended Livingston College and was a member of the Phi Mu sorority. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, Gadsden, AL. and part of The United Methodist Women. She was a member in a local chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution and the Gadsden chapter of The Music Clubs of America. She retired from Long Memorial, Anniston, AL after 30 years as General Manager. Wynell is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Welsh and 9 siblings. Wynell is survived by her son, A.V. Welsh and wife, Sandra Dee Welsh of Texas; and daughter, Rebecca Caudle and husband, David Caudle of Mississippi; grandchildren, Garrett Welsh and wife, Heather and Grant Welsh and wife, Danielle; and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A private service was held in Texas where she will be interred.
