Patricia Ann Cade, 59, of Canyon Lake, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 19, 1958 in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of Bea Hornbeck and the late Paul Hornbeck. She was also a loved substitute teacher for the students at Canyon Lake High School. She had many passions in life, one which was cooking meals for anyone willing to sit down to eat with her, but if you had somewhere to be, she would make sure to send you with tupperware of leftovers to go, no questions asked. Her other passions included scuba diving the Comal river, playing bunco every second Tuesday with friends and family, gardening, playing the Hay Day game on her iphone, and when time allowed her, putting her toes in the sand at any beach she could get to. Patricia is survived by her husband, Ira John Cade; children, Cassidy Cade, Cheyenne Cade, John E. Cade and step-daughter, Christa Cade Pierre; sisters, Pam Gonzalez and Peggy Mosley. A visitation will be held at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation -BCRF.
