Lillian Pargmann Rosenthal passed away on July 2, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born in Nordheim, TX on January 21, 1933 to Emil and Minnie Koehler Pargmann. After graduating from New Braunfels High School, she went on to be a homemaker for a few years. Lillian then went to work in a dry goods store, Dickey's Red and White, and later worked at the Hobby and Toy Center. Her favorite things were her family, and making crafts of all kinds, especially crocheting. She had a greatly enjoyed family history and spent many hours doing research. she loved playing bingo and being with friends. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her step-mother, Etta Hansman Kellerman Rahe Pargmann; and sister, Hilda Marie Pargmann Dickey and husband Nathan Dickey, Jr. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Rosenthal; and fur babies, Millie, Smokey, and Buster. A Graveside service will be held at Comal Cemetery on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Braunfels Humane Society, to St. Paul Lutheran Church, or to a charity of your choosing.

    • She was not Ill . She had a stroke on June 26. She fell in the house hitting her head on table. Doctor does not know is stroke caused fall r fall cause stroke. She also had bleeding on the brain and could not move her left side r swallow. It all happen so fast.

  4. Becky, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I will always remember teaching young children at FUMC with your mom and Bethel Haas. We enjoyed having music together with our 2 classes and just laughing and enjoying the children. Lillian was always smiling and kind with the children and made Sunday School a pleasure both for the children and her fellow Sunday School teachers. Margaret Brazle

  6. We met Mrs. Rosenthal after seeing her going out to eat with her sister Mrs. Dickey and her husband at Pats Place. We had many wonderful conversations with them over the years.
