Dorothy Jean Hayley, 74, of Canyon Lake, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2017 in New Braunfels. Born on September 20, 1943 in Vidor, TX, she was the daughter of the late Dayton Allen Carpenter and Emma Lena Wright Carpenter
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Forrest Hayley; children, Theresa Romero and husband, Bobby; Edward E. Merten, Jr. (Skip); stepdaughter, Margaret J. Skeeters; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Romero, Melissa Kay Romero, Desiree Elyse Merten; sister, Jeanette Saladin; brother, Charles Carpenter.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Cowboys for Jesus Christian Fellowship in Canyon Lake.
