Santos "Sandy" Rodriguez Vega

Santos "Sandy" Rodriguez Vega, a resident of McQueeney, passed away early Thursday morning, June 1, 2017 at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin at the age of 65. Sandy was born on April 11, 1952 in Converse, TX to the late Jose G. "Lalo" Rodriguez and Jesusa Perez Rodriguez. Sandy was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for most of her professional career. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Elisia R. Ochoa. Survivors include her beloved children, Juan Gabriel Rojas and wife Doris, Joselito Vega and wife Abigail Galvan, Isela Germana Williams and husband Dre, Yomayra Vega and Eliseo Colchado Vega, Jr.; sisters, Maria R. Medellin and husband Isabel and Elida R. Zamora and husband Guadalupe, Sr. In addition, Sandy is also survived by five grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will resume at 9:00 AM on Tuesday morning, June 6, 2017 at Church of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, followed by the Mass, which will begin at 10:00 AM.
