Ronald Laverne Stark, 84, of Seguin, Texas, passed away Saturday morning, October 21, 2017. Ron was born on July 8, 1933 in Ludington, Michigan, son of John and Fannie (Ames) Stark. He graduated from Ludington High School. He joined the Army and spent 2-years overseas serving our country. Ron was married to Fay Harrietta Clark. He worked for many years on the C&O Car Ferry in Ludington and retired from there as a wheelsman. Ron loved the outdoorsgardening, fishing and going for walks with his dog. He loved spending his mornings drinking coffee, and watching the squirrels and birds at his feeder. Ron was a generous and loving man who was always willing to help others. He will be sorely missed. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife Fay Stark; daughters Sandra Patten and Sindy Scogin, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Ron is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Anna Elmira Patterson, Evelyn Romelia Seymour, Georgia Parsons, and Marjorie Hansen; and a brothers Johnnie, Donald, Lawrence and James Stark. A special thank you to the Genesis Nursing Home in New Braunfels and Seguin for their care and kindness. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions in memory of Ron may be directed to your nearest animal rescue center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lux Funeral Home in New Braunfels, Texas.
